About the Course
Goal of the Course: After completing the course, employees will become conversational with a vast knowledge of Spanish competency level. Employees will have enough Spanish knowledge to participate in complete Spanish conversations. They will be able to give simple job-related instructions in Spanish and learn essential job-related Spanish vocabulary.

Core Course: The course is divided into 2 parts.
1. Conversation which teaches the communications skills.
2. Job Specific terminology modules.
1. Conversation
Pronunciation - A large portion of the course is dedicated to pronunciation so people will be able to understand the Spanish that is being spoken.

Conversation - More than 201 lessons make up the conversation section of the course. This gives the employees a vast knowledge in Spanish communication.

Background of the Course: Our Spanish course has been taught at the university level for seven years. It is under the Foreign Language Department with the title "Spanish 1300 - Practical on-the-job Spanish." We have have also taught our course to many government agencies as well as corporations like Autoliv, All-State Insurance, Nationwide, Sentinel Consumer Products, Lifetime Products, and many others during the past 12 years.

System Requirements

Server Space
  • The files necessary to the course require 189 MB(Mega Bytes) of space on the server.
Compatibility
  • All Lessons are done in FLASH using an executable (.exe) file. This means that the systems don't need any special support software to run.
End-User System Requirements
  • For best results, the users computer should have at least a 350 MHz processor, and 32MB of Ram. If the files are to be on a internet based server, the computer should have at least at DSL, ISDN, or Cable internet connection. If slower connections are used the lessons may still work, but will download slowly, and pause frequently.
  • Each end user's Computer MUST also have a Sound card.
