Welcome to the fifth and final Affiliate Training,
"How Fraud affects you as our affiliate." We will cover the process we go through for
fraudulent orders and returned orders and the steps we take
to ensure you receive credit for each sale.
Fraudulent
Sales
Due to the nature of doing business on the internet, we
occasionally have fraudulent orders come through our system.
On rare occasions, one of these fraudulent orders will come
through an affiliate link. So, what is a fraudulent
order?
When someone orders a product from our online store with the
intention of only testing their payment method, our system
flags this as fraud. We have a number of indicators built in
which allow us to detect and prevent these orders. However,
if one happens to get through, it would appear to you as just
another order. You would still receive an email telling you
that a sale had been made and it would appear in your monthly
total. Once the order is recognized as fraud, it is deleted
from our system and, therefore, from your account. I am
alerted whenever fraud is detected in an affiliate's
order. I will send you an email letting you know what has
happened and explain why the commission has been removed from
your account.
Returned
Orders
We have a 30 day full money back guarantee that comes with
every purchase of the Visual Link Spanish™ Course. This
guarantee is in place as a service to our customers. It also
instills confidence when they order that they are buying a
quality product, which our company backs up 100%. If a course
is returned by one of your customers/visitors, they will
receive a full refund. All commissions associated with that
sale are then removed from your account. If you have already
been paid the commission, the total, for that sell, will be
subtracted from the next month's total. In most industries, the product-return rate is 5%, fortunately, because of the quality of our product, our return rate is less than 1%.
Credit for Each

It is our commitment
to ensure that you receive full credit for every referral and
sale generated from your site. It starts with the cookies we
use to track each sale. The cookies we use are set to never
expire. That is not to say they will always remain on each
computer 100% of the time, but do everything we can to ensure they remain on
the computer as long as possible.
We also use the Free CD ROM as an addition check. When a
customer orders the Free CD-ROM from your site ($1 commission), they are tagged
in our database as referred from you. When this customer buys
the complete course, even if your cookie has already been
deleted, you will receive full credit for that sale.
One last check we have in place deals with phone orders. Not
every customer feels comfortable giving their credit card
number over the internet. These customers can call our Toll
Free Number 866-9SPANISH and order by phone. During every
order taken over the phone, the customer is asked how they
originally found our lessons. If it was from your site, you
will still get commission on the sale. Many affiliate sales
each month are taken over the phone and credit is given.
