We had another successful month in February for affiliate earnings! I anticipate that it will continue to increase, and we can get you on the ball so that you can earn more commissions each month.
There were quite a few of you who promoted Visual Link Spanish™ in your newsletter or sent out a dedicated e-mail. For the affiliates who took my advice and received help or guidance from me, their affiliate earnings nearly doubled their January commission if not more.
For the month of March, we are starting something new with the affiliate program. I would like to tell you about our referral program that I have been working on in order to allow you to be a part of.
Some of you may be familiar with tier-2 sales, but for those of you who are not, let me tell you about it. Tier-2 affiliate commissions allow you to refer other webmasters or potential affiliates to our program. I recommend that you refer potential affiliates who would be a good fit with our program and will help you earn commissions.
Some examples of affiliate categories that are currently in the program would include: Spanish, language, study abroad, travel, vacation, career related, bilingual, real-estate, etc. These are not limited but are some suggestions that will help you in considering who you would like to refer.
The biggest benefit of referring another affiliate to our program is all you have to do is set them up. Once you have them under your wing and help them get started, all you have to do is sit back and receive a 5% commission from all of their sales. The referred affiliate will still start earning a commission of 25%, but this will allow you to earn a little extra money for simply suggesting them.
This is the reason why you want to refer a qualified site to join the affiliate program under you. Their sales will affect your sales in helping to increase your commission check for as long as you both are affiliated with Visual Link™.
In order to refer an affiliate, I have made a couple of links in your “Tools & Links” tab in your affiliate account. They will show as: Visual Link(TM) Affiliate Referral or Visual Link(TM) Affiliate Sign-up. All you have to do is either set that up on your site, or send it in an e-mail to the potential affiliate that you are referring. These links will take the person directly to the affiliate sign-up form.
