What is the change? The time period for which affiliate commission is figured each month is moving back one week. Which means rather than figuring commissions from the month from the 1st to the 31st, we now will be figuring them from the last week of the previous month up to a week before the end of the current month. For January since commission were already paid for the last week of December, we had to start with the first of January and ended on January 24th, but for February, commission payments will be paid for the period January 25 to the third week in February and that pattern will continue every month. Why the change? The way our system is tied into the rest of the company, payments were taking an extra week to get processed and commission checks were being received by the middle of the month. In order to move up the time payments are sent out, we had to move up the time they are processed. How this affects you Affiliate payments will start coming at the first of the month. When you are looking for your end of month total, to check where you ended up in the top 10 or to verify that you received the correct commission, you need to figure that from the start of the last week of the previous month to the start of the last week in the current month. I will include these dates in each email so you can be certain.
